Health Plan

Prevention is always better than cure

Our Health Plan is provided in partnership with Vetsure and is designed to make routine preventive care simple and affordable. It’s not a form of pet insurance. It works alongside insurance to help keep pets healthy and reduce the need for unplanned treatment. Prevention is always better than cure, and the plan helps you stay on top of the care that matters most.

Plans are available for dogs, cats, and rabbits, each tailored to the needs of the species. The Health Plan covers the essentials that keep your pet healthy day to day. It spreads the cost of core preventive treatments across the year, helping you budget more easily while ensuring nothing important is missed.

Parasite control is prescribed individually according to each pet’s risk profile, considering lifestyle, exposure, and local prevalence, rather than applying a blanket approach. This avoids unnecessary medication use and supports good environmental practice.

Routine veterinary consultations are not currently included in the plan. However, members benefit from regular contact with our clinical team through scheduled health checks, which helps identify problems early and maintain long-term wellbeing.

How it works

Joining is straightforward. Once your pet is registered, monthly payments are collected directly by Vetsure. You’ll receive reminders when treatments or vaccinations are due, and our team will help you keep everything on track.

Although the plan runs continuously rather than renewing each year, the discounted prices are based on a full year of membership. If you choose to cancel partway through the year and have already received more in benefits than you’ve paid for, the difference between the monthly payments made and the value of treatments received will be payable at cancellation. This ensures fairness across all members and allows us to continue offering meaningful discounts. This approach is standard across veterinary health plans and reflects best practice in other subscription-based services.
